The World of Outlaws are heartbroken to learn of Bobby Allen’s passing. Scruffy’s determination drove him to becoming one of the best racers to ever emerge from the Sprint Car hotbed of Pennsylvania. His hundreds of career wins included 30 with the World of Outlaws, the first of which was the Series’ second ever race at Eldora in 1978 and the last of which being the 1990 Knoxville Nationals. In his time after driving, Allen’s leadership of Shark Racing helped his son, Jacob Allen, and grandson, Logan Schuchart, establish themselves as stars of the sport, and Bobby was a key part of the team all the way up to his passing.
